The emerging smartphone brand Realme has developed a new smartphone. On May 15, 2019 the company will launch two new phones in China, the Realme X and the Realme X Lite. Both devices already appeared on the Chinese certification site TENAA, revealing both the design and most of the specs. In addition, the phones are already being offered on the Chinese consumer site JD.com
Realme X and X Lite smartphones
Mukul Sharma, reporter at Android Updated, further reports the company also placed a Weibo post in which they confirmed that the Realme X will feature an AMOLED display. This model will likely incorporate a 6,5-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The Lite version (a rebranded Realme 3 Pro) sports a 6,3-inch FHD+ LCD display. This model comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Both Android Pie smartphones will be driven by a 2.2Ghz octa-core Snapdragon 710 processor with a minimum of 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage memory. The Realme X is supposed to excel in photography. This phone will be equipped with a 16 megapixel pop-up camera. In addition, a dual-camera will be placed on the rear. This camera system consists of a 48 megapixel Sony sensor (f/1.7) and a 5 megapixel secondary camera. The Realme X is expected to feature a 3.680 mAh battery and will be available in the colors black/blue and white.
The Realme X Lite will be equipped with a 25 megapixel selfie-camera. This is not a pop-up camera though, the X Lite comes with a water drop notch. On the rear you will find a dual camera with 16 and 5 megapixels. The Lite model features a powerful 3.960 mAh battery and will be available in the colors Blue and Violet.
